Deontay Wilder Is ‘Upset’ With Ruiz Over Loss To Anthony Joshua

WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder has said that he is upset with Andy Ruiz Jr for not being smart enough to defeat British boxer, Anthony Joshua.

Jameela News reported that Anthony Joshua defeated Ruiz in a fight that secured the Brit heavyweight a huge sum of $83 million.

Reacting to his defeat, he said he was a little upset with Ruiz for fighting 12 long rounds without having the intellect to “know how to cut the ring off”.

He said that if he was put in such a situation, he is smart enough to know how to handle it.

His words, “I’m smart enough to know, cut the f***ing ring off.

“Once you cut the ring off, you put Joshua in a corner and you can have your way with him by hitting him the way you did the first time

“To be in boxing that long and not know how to cut the ring off? If he knew, he didn’t do it, or he didn’t have the intellect. I’m a little upset with him.”
