Imo: Real Reason Ihedioha Was Fired As Governor – Oshiomhole

The All Progressives Congress, APC, National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, has hailed the Supreme Court for ousting former Imo State Governor Emeka Ihedioha.
Jameela News recalls that the Supreme Court on January 14 sacked the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Emeka Ihedioha as Governor after a unanimous judgement read by Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun declared that he was not duly elected.
The Justice also held that Hope Uzodinma of the All Progressives Congress, APC, won the election and should be given a Certificate of Return, CoR, immediately.
Jameela News reports that Oshiomhole applauded the apex court for correcting the electoral “fraud” of the Independent National Electoral Commission in Imo by sacking Ihedioha, who did not get a two-third majority of the votes cast in 27 local government areas in Imo State.
Oshiomhole told his members during a rally in Auchi, Edo North that it was a crooked professor recruited by INEC that declared Ihedioha winner of the March 9, 2019, gubernatorial election.
He said: “Everybody knows that you need one-quarter of the votes in at least two-third local government (areas) in a state to be declared a winner or governor, but INEC recruited a crook Professor who declared Emeka Ihedeoha of the PDP who scored one third in 12 local government (areas) out of 27. So, if the Professor go free with his loot, another person will try it again.
“That was the mischief that the Supreme Court corrected that they are hiring people to come and make noise. We don’t steal votes, we win votes. So I congratulate the Supreme Court for upholding the constitution of the country.”
