Abraham Ngboere becomes new Speaker

Former Bayelsa State Assembly Speaker Monday Bubou-Obolo has stepped down for Abraham Ngboere on Wednesday.

Jameela News reports that Bubou-Obolo a member of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, stepped down a few days after Governor Duoye Diri was sworn in.

The new state Assembly Speaker, Abraham Ngboere, also a member of the PDP, was the Deputy Speaker of the State.

Monday Bubou-Obolo who hails from Bayelsa Central Senatorial District, the same District as the State Governor, handed over to his deputy, Ngobere.

Ngboere is the lawmaker representing Brass Constituency 3, Jameela News understands.
