Kogi State Finally Records Index COVID-19 Cases In Nigeria

Kogi State has recorded two new COVID-19 cases as it joins other affected states in the West African country of Nigeria.
Jameela News reports that the confluence state recorded its index COVID-19 case(s) on Wednesday, May 27.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made the disclosure at the daily update of the number of Coronavirus cases across the federal on Wednesday evening.
With this recent update, the number of COVID-19 cases in Nigeria has risen to 8733 from 8344 cases recorded on Tuesday evening, May 26.
The NCDC revealed that Nigeria recorded 389 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday evening with Lagos recording the highest number of cases.
According to the breakdown by the Disease Control Agency, Kogi state added to the stats with 2 new cases.
