Exclusive: TVC Your View Co-host Nyma Speaks On #EndSARS Attack

Nyma Akashat Zibiri a co-host on TVC breakfast show, Your View has spoken on the attack of the television studio in Ikosi-Ketu area of Lagos State.

In an exclusive interview with Jameela News, Nyma said that the breakfast show was live when some unknown men entered the premises of TVC communications.

Nyma explained further that the Your View show host, Morayo Afolabi-Brown, was live in the studio with co-host, Tope Mark Odigie when the attack occurred.

“The other co-hosts and I joined the show from our homes and we are now safe.”

Jameela News learned that the attack on TVC studio has led to the media house shutting down.

Reports reaching this impeccable news medium confirms that some police officers have since halted the vandalism of the media house.

These attacks have occurred in the heat of the #EndSARS, a protest against Police brutality especially by a disbanded police unit known as the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).

This attack on TVC communication occurred hours after Soldiers shot at peaceful protesters at the Lekki toll-gate on October 20, 2020.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian Army has since debunked the report, labelling major headlines of the Army massacre as “Fake News”, despite video evidence of this report.
