McGregor’s loss to Poirier was recorded in Las Vegas, United States on Sunday, July 11.

Former interim lightweight champion Dustin Poirier who lost to McGregor after a  first-round TKO at UFC 178 in 2014 had evened the score in January with a second-round TKO.
