Amusan has decided the fate of Nigeria in the 100m hurdles at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
Jameela News reports that Tobiloba Amusan, 24, the representative of Nigeria at the ongoing 2020 Olympics, qualified for the finals.
Amusan booked her position after winning the semi-final with a timeframe of 12.62 seconds.
She has a personal best timeframe of 12.48 and is ranked number four in the world.
Amusan’s victory comes after this online news platform reported that Nigeria’s pride, an Olympic gold medalist, Blessing Okagbare was disqualified by the AIU on Friday, July 30.
