Breaking: Fani Kayode Makes Shocking Move, Dumps PDP For APC
Femi Fani Kayode, a former chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Thursday, September 16, 2021.
Jameela News learned that Chief Femi Fani Kayode officially joined the ruling APC after the Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala presented him to President Muhammadu Buhari as the latest member of the party.
Femi Fani Kayode told newsmen after the meeting with President Buhari that he dumped the PDP for the APC to uphold the country’s unity.
The former Minister of Aviation also claimed to be responsible for the recent defections into the ruling APC.
He listed Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State, Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River State and Governor Bello Matawale of Zamfara State among those whose decamping he influenced.
Fani Kayode further hinted on the possibilities of some PDP Governors decamping to APC soon. They are; Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed and Enugu State Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi
