Aminata Diallo was arrested and detained on Wednesday after it was discovered she attacked her teammate.
On November 4, two masked men ambushed Aminata Diallo, Hamraoui, and another unnamed team-mate when the 26-year-old was driving them home after a team meal in Paris.
During the attack, Diallo’s fellow France international Hamraoui was dragged from the car and had her legs beaten.
Hamraoui who was taken to the hospital, had her arms and legs stitched.
Following Diallo’s arrest on Wednesday, PSG in a statement said they were working with police “to shed light on the facts.”
The France Club strongly condemned “the violence committed”, adding that they had “taken all the necessary measures to guarantee the health, well-being, and safety of players” since the attack took place.
The Versailles prosecutor’s office while confirming her release said two individuals were “no longer being detained”.
The statement read in part, “The investigation is ongoing in order to identify the attackers and their accomplices.”
The Police have also released the 34-year-old man who had been arrested in connection with the attack.
