Ada Ameh rose to the limelight with the award-winning movie, Domitila shot in the mid-90s.

She was a mother-of-one until 2000, when she lost her only child.

Jameela News reports that Nollywood thespian, Ada Ameh has died after collapsing at a friends party on Sunday, July 17.

The 48-year-old actress was confirmed dead at a hospital in Warri Delta State around 11 pm.

This online news platform learned from multiple sources that she was a guest at an oil company mogul’s event when she suddenly collapsed in the presence of the family.

Who Is Ada Ameh?

Ada Ameh was born in Ajegunle, Lagos State to a Benue parent.

She rose to limelight after starring in popular blockbuster movie Domitilla, released in 1996 where she played the role of Anita.

Ada has been in popular Africa Magic family series The Johnsons as Emu Johnson, the wife of Lucky Johnson.

In a recent interview on Your View TVC, Ada Ameh revealed that she lost 7 of her siblings and two years ago she buried her only child. She confirmed that losing close family members had put her in a state of depression, a mental health condition. The screen diva also advised people with mental health problems to seek medical help.
