GWR Says Hilda’s Cook-A-Thon Crashed Their Site

The Guinness World Records have revealed that Nigerian chef’s record for longest cooking attracted a lot of traffic to their site, leading to its crash for two days.

Jameela News reports that the record holding company disclosed this while officially certifying the chef on Tuesday as the new record holder for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.

Hilda’s cook-a-thon was in fact so popular that our website crashed for two days due to the immense volume of traffic we received from her legion of loyal fans,” the rep disclosed in a statement.

The body revealed that they deducted seven hours from the time she spent cooking because “she mistakenly took extra minutes for one of her rest breaks early on in the attempt.”
